Policing Agency
A policing agency wanted to understand how they would be able to keep people safe in 2050 and beyond, in a smarter city that was already in development.
We conducted a rigorous process to identify the world's best practice in defined areas, researched and converted it into strategy and tactic that creates a smooth transition from the current operating model to one of smarter policing.
This creates the first smarter police station and service in their country and a blueprint for smarter criminal justice systems globally.
Investigation Capability
We were approached by a national government agency that had a significant issue with the capability and capacity within their national investigation areas.
By creating and delivering bespoke training, delivered to their teams by industry experts, we created knowledge and increased skillsets in investigation and interviewing areas.
Conflict Management
We were approached by a national government agency, in a regulatory area, that were concerned their workforce were exposed to rising amounts of conflict.
Using the skills and abilities gained through hostage, crisis and terrorist negotiation, we developed and delivered a one day course across the employee network.
As a direct result employees became more engaged with training within the organisation (9.1/10 rolling 12 month score).
They are now more confident and better able to manage the conflict that they face within their roles.
Biography
Owner and Founder
Prior to starting the company Gary was an international senior police officer, leading in some of the most challenging cities.
He then moved into executive roles within the technology and advisory environments, helping public safety and national defence agencies create innovation, effective and efficient operating models.
Gary created GHK Global Advisory to create genuine, positive impact across the public safety environment, with his passion for innovation, leading the company to specialisms in smarter criminal justice systems, smarter cities and human centric innovation.
Having graduated from Warwick Business School with a Masters in Leadership and Management he is now researching for his PhD in bias and noise in decision making, using missing children investigations as a test area.
